History of Flash Technology

Originally acquired by Macromedia, Flash was ushered in in 1996, and is presently developed and distributed by Adobe Systems. Flash is normally applied to create animation, advertisements, and various web page Flash components, to integrate video into internet pages, and far more recently, to develop rich Internet applications.

The precursor to the Flash application was SmartSketch, a drawing application for pen computers running the PenPoint OS developed by Jonathan Gay, who began working on it in college and extended the idea for Silicon Beach Software and its successors

When PenPoint failed in the marketplace, SmartSketch was ported to Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. With the Internet becoming more popular, SmartSketch was re-released as FutureSplash, a vector-based web animation in competition with Macromedia Shockwave. In 1995, SmartSketch was further modified with frame-by-frame animation features and re-released as FutureSplash Animator on multiple platforms. The item was offered to Adobe and utilized by Microsoft in its early work with the Internet (MSN). In 1996, FutureSplash was acquired by Macromedia and released as Flash, contracting "Future" and "Splash".

As you might already know Flash technology is also applied for designing Flash templates and Flash site layouts.

The premium Flash Template is a fully configurable and easy to use web template with a lot of great features. The Flash Template is clearly a finest purchase and your web-site dressed up in the Flash Template will surely impress your visitors.

Joomla and Ecommerce - What Are The Choices?

Understanding Joomla Web CMS

It is possible to think of a Joomla! website as bringing together three elements.

  • Your content, which is mainly stored in a database.
  • Your design template, which controls the design and presentation of your content (including fonts, colors and page layout).
  • Joomla! which is the software program that bring the content and the theme together to produce website pages.

Joomla is a free content management system utilized to create sites. Joomla permits web designers to create sites by incorporating modules, and requires no expertise in programming to use. Joomla's framework is written in PHP, as are the modules used to modify internet sites. There is a large number of modules available, including RSS feeds, polls, and language internationalization, which make it painless for Joomla users to post content to the web, even with minimal web development practical experience. Joomla is likewise utilized to post info on intranets, which makes it a handy organizational tool.

E-commerce Today

What is Ecommerce

When implemented properly, ecommerce is often faster, cheaper and more convenient than the traditional methods of bartering goods and services. The road to creating a successful online store can be a difficult if unaware of ecommerce principles and what ecommerce is supposed to do for your online business. Researching and understanding the guidelines required to properly implement an e-business plan is a crucial part to becoming successful with online store building.

e-Commerce vs off-line Commerce

The list below summarazies what makes eCommerce so popular today

  • Larger purchases per transaction - Online stores offer a feature that no normal store offers - "related products" or "what other people who ordered this product also purchased" Due to features like these it is common for people to buy more products that they might buy at a normal store.
  • Larger catalogs - A company can build a catalogue on the web that would never fit in an ordinary mailbox.
  • Improved client interactions - With automated tools it is possible to interact with a client in richer ways at virtually no cost. For Instance, the client might get an email when the order is confirmed, when the order is shipped and after the order arrives. A happy client is more likely to buy something else from the company.
  • Lower transaction costs - if an eCommerce internet site is implemented well, the web can significantly lower costs by automating procedures.
  • Integration into the business cycle - A Web web site that is well-integrated into the business cycle can offer clients more information than previously available. For example, shipping tracking makes it possible for the customer to see where their order is at the moment
  • People can shop in different ways. Traditional mail order companies introduced the concept of shopping while at home in cosy slippers, and e-commerce offers this same luxury. New features that web sites offer include:
    • The ability to configure products and see actual prices
    • The ability to build an order over several days
    • The ability to easily build complicated custom orders
    • The ability to compare prices between multiple vendors easily
    • The ability to search large catalogs easily
